The Rural Literature Book Club is a friendly, laid back group of people from around the world that meets online three to four times a year to discuss books with rural subject matters. The conversation is fun, inclusive and insightful, and generally lasts about an hour. The group is free to join.
Members suggest books to read together, and then vote on the next title to discuss.
The Rural Literature Book Club is a low commitment opportunity to share your thoughts on what you’re reading and hear the opinions of others. You’ll be able to meet people from a different geography, but with similar interests.
Typically, a handful of discussion questions are posted before the meeting to give members something to think about in advance. A zoom link is sent out on the group’s Facebook page a week before the meeting.
You can join the Rural Literature Book Club here. Feel free to contact Ryan Dennis with any questions: RyanDennis@themilkhouse.org.
